Nov 28, 2019:   ABUTA JU Local Chapter is extremely against the following issues and has arranged a deputation to the Vice-Chancellor of Jadavpur University on December 2, 2019 demanding immediate actions against: 1) the use of narcotics in the campus, irregularities in essential services, 2) insufficient aids for teacing and research (laptop, its maintenance, exam remuneration, etc.), and 3) practice of non-uniformity among teachers beyond UGC guidelines, etc.

  25. ABUTA Movement Resolution against Grant of Graded Autonomy(!) and other issues: The Executive Committee of ABUTA called a meeting on March 27, 2018 at Vidysagar Uiversity. The EC took a resolution for related movement against the UGC Graded Autonomy to Central and State aided universities – 2018 along with some other issues.

A deputation of ABUTA to the VC, West Bengal State University (WBSU) on March 8, 2018: Members of ABUTA Executive Committee led by the President and the General Secretary had a meeting with the members of ABUTA, WBSU Local chapter on March 8, 2018. Meeting discussed some burning problems faced by the teachers of that university. After the meeting all members met the Vice Chancellor Prof. Basab Choudhury in a deputation on those demands of the teachers. The deputation was very effective..
